We may one day support Flash import, but it's unlikely we'll ever support Flash export, because of codec licensing restrictions.

A movie exported in Flash vector format would be huge. MoviePlus X3 has no support for Flash import or export.ĭrawPlus exports Flash vector format (SWF), not Flash video (FLV). Wait to get the official line on the forum regarding any future plans maybe, but don't buy it right now if you need this support because it doesn't exist at present! :) All I know is, the MoviePlus manager just came over and asked me a question about DrawPlus's SWF import/export support. I can't comment on whether this functionality will be added in a patch, a future version of the product or not at all. I've actually just this minute been chatting to the MoviePlus team about this - it currently does not import or export flash movies. Major Confusion edited this topic ages ago.

I've just asked the question in the Serif Forums what the official stand is. It's not been unknown for sales staff to get things wrong (they have so many products to be knowledgeable of)! It doesn't appear in the downloadable manual either - available from here. Serif have just phoned me on this and they say it DOES export to Flash.Īlthough this link here (scroll down) doesn't list it.Īnd the manual (available here) doesn't mention it either.

It looks like there's no import/export of swf files, MoviePlus will import avi, as before, so. I will wander over to the Forum later and see what the people over there are saying about it. My big question is will it import/export Flash files? I can not seem to find the answer from Ken's link. I would be interested to here from anyone who has it., £60 seems a good price. I'll just have to wait a bit longer, but a definite one for my wish-list - I'll see if anyone sends money! Just bought WebPlus X2 and PagePlus X3 (early birthday pressies from my wife, Laura) that are just great.

So, I was quite surprised that with new UI and new features I was able to quickly start to get my head around it (at last!) and I've created some pretty cool movies over lunch so far! Put it this way, I'm going to install it on my own PC and use it in preference to the other software I already have. My best friend loved it though and kept on telling me how he uses it for absolutely everything because once you get into it, it's unbelievably powerful and feature-rich. I wasn't a big fan of older versions because it seemed to have too steep a learning curve for me to want to give it a proper try. I was playing with this the other day (I get my grubby little hands on it first, tee hee!) and I was really surprised by it in all honesty (in a good way, lol!). New audio controls included even Dolby Surround!
